For the last thirteen years, on an early morning in August, the Long Beach Junior Chamber, store staff, members, and child service agencies come together, prior to the start of the standard business day, and take children shopping.

Each child is matched with a Jaycee volunteer and given an opportunity to purchase school uniforms, shoes and other school supplies. Additional donations and funds raised are used to provide children with notebooks, pencils, and other back-to-school supplies.

All children selected to shop have been determined in conjunction with Boys and Girls Club of Long Beach. For more information on school uniform assistance, please contact your child(ren)'s school about the Operation School Bell Program.

All donations received by the Long Beach Junior Chamber Charitable Foundation, a 501c3, are tax deductible.
